Weber’s New Guide Supports Flooring Contractors

Saint-Gobain Weber Flooring Guide

Saint-Gobain Weber will be presenting their new guide, which supports specifiers with the flooring process, on Stand B61 at the Flooring Show this year.

Flooring professionals can save time and effort searching for stronger, longer lasting flooring solutions thanks to the comprehensive newflooring guide.

The guide provides details of the key technical characteristics for the full product range of industrial, commercial and residential floor screeds and levelling compounds.

The easy-to-use product selector gives a quick summary of each product’s attributes including application thickness, compressive and flexural strength, and curing times. These technically advanced products are, in some cases, ready for foot traffic after only a few hours following application and can be covered with a soft floorcovering in 24 hours.

The guide also provides technical advice on how products can be used together as a flooring system for specification to NBS standards. This includes primer, glass fibre mesh and underlays for damp proofing, acoustic and under-floor heating solutions.
Adam Schreiber, Flooring Product Manager, Saint-Gobain Weber said: “The common flooring mistakes we see are selecting the wrong flooring for the job, skipping important steps in the installation process and not fully understanding the product. These can be costly and time-consuming problems to remedy, so all of these topics are covered within the guide.  We pride ourselves in offering comprehensive technical and applications support to clients, specifiers and contractors.”

Weber’s flooring products are manufactured in the UK ensuring efficient availability and lead times and now include the proven Low Dust Technology formulation which reduces airborne dust during the pouring and mixing process.

The flooring guide is available for download from the Weber website, or you can pick up a copy on Weber’s stand at the Flooring Show.

Weber offers flooring training at the Webertraining academy in Flitwick.
