F. Ball Appoints New Technical Representative for Ireland

F. Ball Appoints Kevin Hardy as Technical Representative for Ireland

F. Ball and Co. Ltd. has strengthened its technical support team in Ireland with the appointment of Kevin Hardy.

As one of F. Ball’s regional technical representatives, Kevin will provide expert advice, training and on-site assistance to flooring contractors, wholesalers and retailers across Ireland to enable them to get the most out of F. Ball’s subfloor preparation products and adhesives. This will include producing case-specific reports advising on the best course of action for particular flooring installations.

Originally from Johannesberg, South Africa, Kevin moved to Ireland 16 years ago. He brings to his new role 26 years’ experience in sales roles at multinational companies, including seven years in the subfloor preparation and adhesive industry. During this time, he acquired business development, project forecasting and training skills, as well as extensive knowledge of subfloor preparation and floorcovering installation.

Commenting on his appointment, Kevin said: “In Ireland, F. Ball is known for the quality and reliability of its products; contractors used to tell me daily how good they are. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work for a company with such a reputation. The F. Ball team have been very welcoming, and I look forward to expanding the company’s presence in the Irish market by showing more people the benefits of its products and building relationships with flooring professionals across the country.”

Kevin and his wife Joanne have two children: Erin, 16, and Joshua, aged 8. They enjoy camping with friends and family in the summer and holidays to South Africa, where Kevin’s parents still live.
