F. Ball Bolsters Sales and Support Teams

F. Ball has appointed Adam Lord as northern area sales manager, whilst strengthening its leading technical support offering in the south of England with the recruitment of two new technical representatives.

As northern area sales manager, Adam will manage and support the company’s network of regional technical representatives across the north of England, Scotland and Ireland and work closely with F. Ball wholesalers to grow sales whilst identifying and developing new market opportunities.

Adam has developed extensive knowledge of the subfloor preparation products and adhesives market, as well as sales and marketing experience and leadership skills, through flooring industry sales roles, most recently as contract and commercial manager at a flooring distribution company for 15 years.This includes directing teams of contract and retail representatives providing technical support to flooring professionals.

Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I’ve been familiar with F. Ball products for nearly 16 years, so I’m well aware of the opportunity that I have to work for a market-leader that is highly regarded for being synonymous with quality and innovative products. My first task is getting to know the team and adjusting to new ways of working, and I’m confident that it won’t be long before I can start to make a positive impact on helping the team and company reach its objectives.”

F. Ball has also boosted its regional technical support with the appointments of Scott Pomeroy and Joe Gilbert as technical representatives for the South and southeast of England areas respectively.

Scott and Joe will provide expert technical advice, training and on-site assistance to flooring contractors, distributors and retailers in their territories. This will include conducting site visits and producing project-specific reports advising on achieving optimum results when using high-performance F. Ball products.

Scott brings 27 years’ experience in sales at flooring retailers and distributors to the role.

Joe has worked in the flooring industry for nearly 10 years, including in sales and technical support roles for subfloor preparation products and adhesives manufacturers.
